ADDRESS RESERVATION : HOW TO PERFORM ADDRESS RESERVATION TASK IN “TP-LINK ROUTER”




1. First of all we need to check the start and End IP Address of our TP-LINK Router via “DHCP settings” as shown below:  



Here, Starting IP Address is  :    192.168.0.1
          End IP Address is        :     192.168.0.1

  2. After knowing the range of IP Address pool, we need to know the desired PC/Mobile’s details of following things in order to reserve its address via “DHCP Clients List”.
A.      Client Name
                  B.     MAC Address 
                       
       Suppose, here I choose “Info-Depart” computer as “Client Name” whose address is to be reserved. 

3. To reserve the desired address, click on “Address Reservation”.

   4.     Click on “Add New” and provide the following data correspondence to Info-Depart:
A.      MAC address of Info-Depart PC: F8-BC-12-57-7C-74
B.      Reserved IP Address (Eg):192.168.0.101
C.      Status: Enabled
Click on “Save”. 
 
5.  To make above change into function you need to reboot the device. For this you need to click on “click here” option as shown below: 
 





  
  6. Now your final task is to click on reboot option as shown below:

                                  Now, you have got your problem solved.
